Timing is everything. Yet, no one knows when they were born in this world, and no one knows when they will depart from this world. I once knew a guy that received an absolute golden nugget of information that changed his life, and it came in the form of a question. His mother asked him, "If you were drowning, would it matter what color the hand is that reached down you save you?" BAM!!!
I would like to make two points that we call all agree:
During birth and death there is generally a main character.
Each and every of us will must ultimately complete our existence at some point.
When we hear of emergencies that claim lives around the world or within our own borders it is capturing the departure of an individual or multiple individuals leaving their current existence.
Just this morning, the news informed us of a ship losing control and ramming into the bridge dedicated to Fransis Scott Key and ending the lives of six individuals. 2:05 PM Hawaii time the search efforts shifted from rescue to recovery. May they and their respective family find peace.
I have had the honor and privilege of working in the military side-by-side with Veterans that performed different jobs, represented all races, with different political beliefs, etc…
If any of the six souls involved in this event today happen to be a military Veteran, I hope they receive their honors regardless of their occupation, race, political belief, etc.
Timing is everything. There will always be “the next emergency.”
